1. Pilot hole enlargement rule: Pilot hole for heavy clinch nut is 0.1~0.15mm larger than standard size to reserve space for thick tooth embedding; 2. Press tonnage matching: 4~6 ton hydraulic clincher for 3~4mm plate, 8~10 ton heavy floor press for 5~6mm thick steel plate; 3. Press depth control: Nut flange fully attach sheet surface with sink depth limited 0.02~0.05mm, excessive depth causes surface dent; 4. Material selection rule: S-H galvanized carbon steel heavy nuts for dry indoor heavy cabinets, full CLS-H SUS304 stainless series for coastal outdoor energy storage enclosures.

3. Rectification Solutions For Common Thick Plate Clinching Defects

1. Nut spinning under load: Wrong thin standard clinch parts used, switch to CLS-H/S-H heavy thick series and raise press tonnage for deeper engagement; 2. Aluminum plate cracking during clinching: Anneal sheet before processing, install buffer tooling and adopt two-stage low-speed pressing; 3. Excessive flange sink dent: Lower press stroke limit to prevent full flange embedding into sheet; 4. Short-term rust on outdoor cabinets: Upgrade S-H carbon steel nuts to thick zinc-nickel coating, directly replace with CLS-H stainless series for coastal projects.
